Vanessa and Friends will delight the audience with classical piano repertoire and holiday favorites at Hagaman Memorial Library, 227 Main Street on Saturday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m.

Vanessa is a Juilliard trained musician having studied under Rosina Lhevinne, Leonard Bernstein and Master-Classed with Arthur Rubenstein.

Vanessa’s vocal student, Trevor Howe, will be a featured soloist singing “Mary Did You Know”, “Believe” from Polar Express and a Michael Buble classic, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”.

Trevor is a Down’s Syndrome adult who exhibited a love of music as an infant. His musical knowledge of country music is legendary. Trevor received a gift from Pit Bull, by meeting him in person and receiving box office seats during a performance at Mohegan Sun.

Vanessa will also be accompanying Kristen Ryan, a popular Shoreline soloist singing inspiring music, allowing the audience to reflect on the meaning of the Season of Christmas.

In addition, some music has been specifically choreographed by the Starship Dance Theater under the brilliant tutelage of Joyce Di Laura of Branford. Dancers will sparkle the eyes of young children in attendance with the magic of their movements and the twinkling of their toes!

Refreshments will be served. If you would like to attend, please call the library at 203-468-3890 to reserve your space, Thank-you!
