Crumbl Cookies popularity sky-rockets among EHHS students after the North Haven location opened, on July 15th 2022.
Crumbl Cookies is a chain bakery that comes out with five new cookies flavors every week. The cookies are freshly made in the bakery and come in boxes of 1, 4, or 6. Crumbl Cookies in North Haven opened for the first time and immediately became a favorite spot among people of all ages, but especially students. EHHS Senior, Ava Esposito likes the cookies for their “ooey-gooey goodness.” Four EHHS students said the milk chocolate chip flavor is their favorite cookie. Students' least favorite flavor is the lemon poppy seed.
Although the establishment is extremely popular, there are some folks who don’t understand the hype. Senior Michael Gatavaski said that the line is too long, the cookies are too expensive and he can “get a krauszers sandwich for that much.” An average price of one cookie is about $4 and about $18 for a box of six. Others just never had the desire to go out of their way for cookies or have ever heard of the establishment. Now that school has started, students are going less often than they did since its opening in the summer. Most teens go about every other week or just any week where the flavors seem satisfactory.
